The Andre Fabre trained Victor Ludorum has drifted out to 7/2 from the 13/8 clear for the French 2000 Guineas set to take place this June.
This three-year-old star racked up three wins over a mile last season and headed into Monday’s meeting at Longchamp as the favourite to land the Group Three but could only manage to finish in third place behind The Summit and Ecrivain.
This has resulted in his odds being eased as he now shares joint favouritism with Earthlight, who is also trained by Andre Fabre, at 7/2 with Boylesports
The Group Three fillies’ race was won by the Andre Fabre trained Tropbeau. The 2/1 winning favourite has been cut to win the French 1000 Guineas with her odds tumbling into 6/4 favourite from 5/2.
Ridden to victory by Mickael Barzalona, Tropbeau managed to hold onto her lead by half a length to Dream And Do who is now the 6/1 joint second favourite, plummeting from 14/1 after her gallant effort.
The Group Two race over 1m2f was won by Shaman with the fancied 2/5 favourite Sottsass back in fourth.
Sottsass who finished 3rd at Longchamp behind Waldgeist and Enable in last year’s Prix de l’Arc has been eased out to 20/1 from 16/1 for this year’s contest.
