Arizona

BetMGM sportsbook has been involved in Arizona sports betting from the start. When Arizona launched sports betting on September 9, 2021, so did BetMGM. The sportsbook partnered with the land-based Gila River Tribe to operate under the casino’s license. It also became the betting partner of the state's NFL powerhouse, Arizona Cardinals. The bookmaker is licensed and regulated by the Arizona Department of Gaming.

Colorado

Colorado is another state where BetMGM launched its sportsbook as online sports betting went live. The sportsbook has been welcoming bettors in the Centennial State since May 1, 2020. BetMGM partnered with the Midnight Rose casino to operate under its land-based gambling license. It also became the betting partner of the NFL’s Denver Broncos. Washington DC

It took Washington DC until May 2020 to legalize online sports betting. But BetMGM launched its sportsbook in the city more than a year later, on June 10, 2021. Indiana

However, in March 2020, BetMGM sportsbook launched in the Hoosier State through a partnership with Belterra Casino Resort. The sportsbook is regulated by the Indiana Gaming Commission to make sure its customers can bet legally and safely.

Iowa

Iowa launched legal sports betting in August 2019, but BetMGM sportsbook didn’t arrive in the Hawkeye State until January 2021. The sportsbook now operates in the state through a partnership with the Diamond Jo Worth Casino and is licensed by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.

Michigan

Michigan online sports betting went live in December 2019, but bettors in the Great Lakes State had to wait until January 2021 to use the BetMGM sportsbook. The site and app are tied to MGM Grand Detroit and known as BetMGM Michigan, and the sportsbook also has a partnership with the NFL’s Detroit Lions. BetMGM is licensed and regulated by the Michigan Gaming Control Board.

Mississippi

Mississippi was one of the first states to legalize online sports betting, launching its first legal sportsbooks in August 2018. But bettors had to wait until September 2021 for the MGM sportsbook to be available. Nevada

Betting in Nevada has been legalized and regulated since 1949, from which point Nevada held a monopoly on sports betting. Although the PASPA has been struck down, Nevada remains a huge betting market. MGM sportsbook started offering its sportsbook in March 2019. The bookmaker is attached to MGM Grand Las Vegas. BetMGM was also quick to strike a deal to become the betting partner of the LA Raiders, the NFL franchise that only moved to Vegas in 2020. New Jersey

New Jersey was one of the first states to regulate and license sports betting after the PASPA ruling. In fact, the appeal to the US Supreme Court claiming the act was unconstitutional was led by Phillip D. Murphy, NJ’s governor at the time. New Jersey sports betting went live in the Garden State in June 2018, and BetMGM formed a partnership with Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. New Jersey has grown to be the state with the biggest betting handle. BetMGM NJ is licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

New York

New York is one of the most recent states to have legalized sports betting in the country, with BetMGM New York and other sportsbooks going live in January 2022. So now any sports bettor in the state can try out almost any different type of New York sports betting option. It is regulated by the New York State Gaming Commission and BetMGM NY is available to any New York sports betting fans out there itching to wager on their favorite teams or competitions, such as the Super Bowl.

Pennsylvania
