Race 1 - Marsh Novices' Chase - Envoi Allen

Ah lads, this is the one here, I don't see any situation where Envoi Allen doesn't win.

Ever since I saw this horse beat Appreciate It in his point to point in Wexford, you could just tell there was something very special here. He's a great jumper, travels all day and is probably the best horse in training. Just sit back and enjoy this one.

Race 2 - Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle - Imperial Alcazar

The Pertemps is always a really great race, and this year it's wide open again, but I fancy Imperial Alcazar here to take this.

His win last time was very strong and the fact that for a while it looked like this lad might go to the Stayers Hurdle says it all. He might just be the class act. Fergal O'Brien is in great form and he has a brilliant jockey up on his back in Paddy Brennan.

Race 3 - Ryanair Chase - Allaho

This race is a brilliantly competitive renewal, there is very little between all of these. I like the look Allaho though and I think he's the one to beat.

I think this must have been a really difficult decision for Paul Townend. I can see why he went with Min though, it's rarely the wrong call to go with one that has done it for you before. Saying that though, I'm a big Allaho fan and I think he's the one here. His work has been very good, he's really shining at home and beating Elimay was good last time as she is held in very high esteem at home. He's the one here for me.

Race 4 - Stayers' Hurdle - Fury Road

This is a properly gruelling race, but I'd happily take a chance here on Fury Road.

His run last year was a cracking effort and he handled everything brilliantly last year. It's all about the form of the Albert Bartlett last year and if he can get back to that level he has to have a chance in this. His price is just too big.

Race 5 - Festival Plate Handicap Chase - The Shunter

As competitive a handicap as you can get again, but I'll be cheering home The Shunter here who could be well handicapped in this.

The horse has been in great form and he has every chance anyway, but the booking of Jordan Gainford is huge. This young lad is the most exciting young jockey in the UK and Ireland, and claiming 7 pounds in this is a big bonus as he is basically stealing it. If he can get over that last run at Kelso, he has every chance. I really hope my good friend Paul Byrne can land the 100k bonus.

Race 6 - Mares' Novices' Hurdle - Glen's Of Antrim

There is very little between these mares, but I've always liked Glen's Of Antrim and I fancy her to take this.

I've rode her a few times at home and she always impresses me. She goes very well and she is built for a race like this. She has been racing in very hot company of late, and will appreciate dropping back into this level. She looks a big price as well.

Race 7 - Kim Muir Challenge Cup Handicap Chase - Hold The Note

This race is always a cracker, but there is no doubt that we'll miss seeing the likes of Jamie Codd or Derek O'Connor this year.

Hold The Note is the one in this for me, he ran a blinder last year at the festival and everything might be falling right for him. I spoke to Johnny Burke earlier and he seems to properly fancy him. It's a very open race, but he might just be the one.
