I know Zanahiyr will take a lot of stopping, but I absolutely love Haut En Couleurs at home and I think he'll run a huge race.
I love riding this lad out, as he really does everything so easily and I think he's full of class. He hasn't ran yet for Willie in Ireland, but that hasn't stopped a few and he will go there in great nick. As I've said Zanahiyr will take a lot of stopping, but this lad is very good in his own right and is a good each way bet.
This is as competitive as it comes, but I loved Ganapathi's run last time and he can win this.
He has to overcome in experience to a certain degree, but he has improved with every start and he caught my eye last time when just failing to see out the trip. That was a field full of Grade One horses so a mark of 140 is very fair. He could be a step above these and I think Paul Townend has definitely picked the right one.

Race 3 - Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle - Fakeira
I agreed with Diarmuid Nolan on the preview night that Pat's Fancy could run a big race, but looking again at it I think Fakeira could go very well.
The horses at Cullentra are flying and it was amazing to see Tiger Roll win again on Wednesday, and Fakeira can add another win for the team and Keith Donoghue. He has loads of experience and jumps great. He was staying on to great effect last time and this longer trip will definitely suit him. He should be favourite in my opinion.

Race 4 - Cheltenham Gold Cup - Al Boum Photo
It's definitely a better race, and Al Boum Photo will have to be bigger and stronger again, but I think he is.
I worked beside him last week and he was in great form in himself and looked a picture. A Plus Tard is a threat, as is Champ, but Al Boum Photo is in great form at home and loves it at Cheltenham. I think he'll be in the form of his life for this and can do it again. I just can't see past him.

Race 5 - Foxhunters Chase - Billaway
This is going to be a completely different race now with the amateurs, but I can't see past Billaway.
I rode this lad in work last week and he was in flying form. I haven't seen him in such a way for a long time and he'll be more than ready for this. I schooled him that day and I was impressed with his jumping as he has been scratchy with that at times, but this lad should be better in that department. They all have it to do if they are to get past him.

Race 6 - Mares' Chase - Elimay
Willie has the first 3 in the betting, but I'd have it between Elimay and Colreevy.
I love this filly and I love when I get the chance to ride her at home. She has shown so much on the track and I actually think she might be improving still! That run behind Allaho was a massive effort as she wasn't getting as much weight as she normally would and she will love Cheltenham. I just can't see another horse who will get past her here.

Race 7 - Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle - Gabynako
The final race of the day and a race I love having won it before on Don Poli and I like the look of Gabynako here.
You need a Graded horse in this and that's what I think Gabynako is. His form is rock solid as he chased home Bob Olinger at Naas in a Grade One, with Blue Lord in second, that's strong form isn't it? He will have learned plenty in the handicap last time and Gavin Cromwell's horses are running much better. He takes a lot of stopping for me and is still a very big price!
